Elizabeth Mitchell is President and CEO of the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH). PBGH is a nonprofit coalition representing nearly 40 private employers and public entities across the U.S. that collectively spend $350 billion annually purchasing health care services for more than 21 million Americans and their families.

As leader of PBGH, Mitchell partners with large employers and other health care purchasers to advance the organization’s strategic focus areas of advancing quality, driving affordability and fostering health equity, leveraging her extensive experience working with health care purchasers, providers, policymakers and payers to improve health care quality and cost.
