Bio

Maria is a committed healthcare leader with experience in both the clinical and payer sides of the industry. She has led innovation and strategic initiative efforts for health plans and provider stakeholders including ACOs. Maria balances the strategic perspective with practical operational and implementation expertise. As a skilled translator between stakeholders, especially business, clinical, and technology, she is adept at helping products and projects come to life.

Prior to Spring Street, Maria was a Portfolio and Program Manager with a National Integrated Delivery System. She also was a Director of Product Development at a large Blues plan. Maria has a master’s degree in Public Health and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BS in Nursing from San Francisco State University. She is an RN in California, a Lean Six Sigma Health Care Green Belt, and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
