Code of Conduct

ThINc is committed to an event experience that is welcoming to all. Any behavior that harasses, threatens, or intimidates others – for any reason – will not be tolerated. Those found to be in violation of this code will be expelled from the event without a refund and may be banned from future ThINc events at the discretion of ThINc.

Promotional Policy

Attendees may not promote any competing products, companies, or events to conference attendees either on or off the event property without permission from ThINc. Organizations found to be in violation of this policy may be expelled from the conference without a refund may be banned from future ThINc events at the discretion of ThINc.

Vendors (Policy for attending conferences, without sponsoring or exhibiting)

ThINc, like almost all other conference organizers, expressly prohibits individual delegates from engaging in sales, marketing, or business development, outside of official sponsor or exhibit status. Our conference supporters invest in these meetings, for access, prestige, and exposure, and earn the right to promote themselves. As a delegate, your fee is intended to learn from the sessions and network with other like purposed executives. A delegate fee does not include active prospecting and client engagement. Sponsors and exhibitors will be upset to see such abuse of the delegate pass, and will be correct in advising show management of the breach. If observed, your pass will be immediately revoked without refund, and your account will be updated to be prohibited from future events.

Please respect the ThINc policies and purchase the appropriate program for your goals and objectives. Our sales team can develop cost effective strategies that include sponsor level access to delegates, mail list, marketing, and personal strategy support. Thank you for your cooperation

Employer HQ Gold Circle Substitutions, Cancellations, and “No Shows” Policy:

Substitute registrants are not permitted at any time (completion of the Employer HQ Gold Circle Application is required for any registrant). Cancellation of participation must be done in writing at least 30 calendar days prior to the start of the event. Cancellation of participation will only be effective upon the written acknowledgement from the organizer. We reserve the right to not honor cancellations after this date. Cancellations received after this date are subject to an administrative fee of $295 and the credit card on file will be charged. Approved guests who fail to attend the event in-person are subject to an administration fee of $295 and the credit card on file will be charged. If, for whatever reason, the conference is canceled, ThINc is not liable for travel or accommodation expenses. This policy supersedes any other policy posted on our website that is not explicitly referenced as part of the Employer HQ Gold Circle.

Conference Substitutions & Cancellation (Registrants other than Employer Gold Circle):

Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 24 hours in advance of the conference. Cancellations received in writing 30 days prior to the starting date of the conference will be refunded, less a $395 administrative charge. No refunds will be made for cancellations made within 30 days prior to the starting date of the conference; however, the registration fee less the $395 administrative charge can be credited to another ThINc conference if you register within 6 months from the date of this conference. In case ThINc cancels a conference, ThINc’s liability is limited to refund of the conference registration fee only. ThINc reserves the right to alter this program without prior notice.

Satisfaction Guaranteed:

We stand behind the quality of its conferences. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the conference, a credit will be awarded towards a comparable conference of your choice.

Prices:

ThINc reserves the right to limit or refuse admission to any individual or company at any time for any reason. Pricing subject to change. Promotions and discounts are subject to review.
Promotional Codes not valid toward Government Rate, Gold Circle, Standard Rate, Webcast, or Workshop Only options. May not be combined with any other offer.

Conference Compendium Web Site: The Compendium Web Site links Acrobat files of any supplementary presentation materials they have provided. This may include copies of slides, outlines, or articles cited from publications. The availability of materials is contingent on presenters submitting them. The Compendium Web Site is not a transcript of the event and does not contain audio or video recordings.

Payment Terms:

Payment Terms for all registration invoices are NET 14, however all registration fees must be paid prior to the start of the event. ThINc reserves the right to adjust registration fees to the current rate if payment is not received within terms. All discounted rates are subject to review and approval. ThINc reserves the right to adjust registration fees if a registrant selects a discounted rate, but does not meet the criteria for that rate (see Industry Sector Definitions).

International Customers:

PLEASE BE ADVISED: all payments are processed in U.S. Dollars. International currencies are converted to U.S. Dollars on the date of payment. We make every effort to process the most accurate currency exchange. However, all international payments are subject to fluctuation in currency exchange rates.

Webcast Registrations:

Individuals or groups may register for Internet access. You must register specific attendee names when registering a group. Each attendee will receive a user name and password for access.

Only one user (per user name and password) may access the event. ThINc gives no permission to share user name and password with third parties. It is not permissible to share media with third parties via the webcast or post event flash drive. User name and password use will be monitored to assure compliance. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of access and no refunds will be made.

Log-in Instructions will be sent approximately 48 hours before the event is to take place. Once you receive the log-in instructions please be sure to test your system.

Webcast Cancellations and Substitutions:

Cancellations must be received in writing 3 weeks before the start of the event. Cancellations received 3 weeks before the start of the event will have the option to receive a refund less a $395 administrative fee. a full credit letter towards a future event Or you may switch to the archived version of the Webcast.
No Refunds will be made within 3 weeks of the Webcast.
It is recommended that you test your system as soon as these instructions are received to assure there are no technical issues. We assume no responsibility for users Virus Software, Firewalls or system limitations hindering their viewing of the webcast.

Payment Method for Webcast:

Please make payment to 1Adatascience. We accept check, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. You may select to be invoiced for the event however payment must be made before Log-in Instructions will be sent out.

Intellectual Property Policy:

Unauthorized sharing of content via Internet access through the sharing of user names and passwords or the Flash Drive is restricted by law and may subject the copyright infringer to civil action. ThINc will pursue copyright infringers.

If a attendee needs the ability to share Event content within his or her organization, multiple Event registrations are available at discounted rates.

The Summit program is subject to change. An executed registration form constitutes binding agreement between the parties.
